Benjamin Ramey, PhD, LPC, PSYC

Dr. Benjamin Ramey is a practicing psychoanalyst of the School of Psychoanalysis of the Forums of the Lacanian Field and member of the faculty in the graduate school of psychology and Meridian University. He is a graduate of Saybrook University where he completed a PhD in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in existential-humanistic psychology. He is a member of the Colorado Analytic Forum and serves on the publishing committee for Cuerno Verde Press, an independent publishing house that produces a clinically focused annual journal and translations from foreign languages of important books in Lacanian psychoanalysis. 

Dr. Ramey operates a private practice in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado where he is available for the offer of psychoanalysis. His doctoral and professional research focuses on the transformation of the subject in psychoanalysis, the study of mystic sayings, and the clinical manifestations of dissociation and memory disturbances. He has published and presented papers on topics of contemporary clinical interest such as the importance of case study research to the clinic and the ethical import of a clinical approach which takes as its foundation the singular speech of the subject and the confounding formations of the unconscious.
